So the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G was announced in Jan 2021 and released in early Feb 2021. It is the highest tier of the S series and with it comes the best features of the flagship phone in 2021. Design and Build

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra build is similar to that of the Plus with Glass front (Gorilla Glass Victus) which is hard enough to survive drops but a screen protector is still required. The back is made from the same Gorilla glass that is on the front and an aluminium frame. It also has IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 1.5m for 30 mins) rating for those oops moments when the phone is dropped in water. The phone is quite large at 165.1×75.6×8.9mm and weighs in at 227g, which is not so comfortable for small hands.

The phone’s screen is a huge 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a refresh rate 120Hz it is also the only one in the series that has a 1440p resolution. It also comes equipped with HDR10+ support and has a peak brightness of 1500 nits to make it a brightness monster that can be viewed well under direct sunlight. At 1440x3200px resolution and an aspect ratio of 20:9 with 515 pixels per inch, even the smallest of details can be visible. User Interface and Performance

The S21 Ultra goes for much sharper and grittier detail and the Dynamic range is nicely wide, and backlit scenes aren’t an issue either.

Video Recording

The phone’s video recording capabilities are of some high calibre owing to its 8K capabilities. Yes the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra can record videos in 8K meaning you might need to get the one with more storage as there is no expandable memory card slot.
